After a couple of years of taking his son to pre-school at the Catholic school down the street, photographer James Ransom finally noticed the utter beauty that existed within the red brick walls.
Built in 1928, the school still houses impressive relics bathed in history. The stunning colors of the walls, floors, chairs, curtains and blackboards is almost overwhelming! Looking at these images brings back memories of school days that never ended, savory scents emanating from the lunchroom, and grafitti etched on desks from students past.
This portfolio was captured old-school style, on Fuji 160 NPS film. The negatives have been scanned and are printed on Moab Entrada 300 gsm watercolor paper.
